USELESS

From the path to the light
To the end of the road
Can’t get out of my way
Even when I’m alone

I’m not a genius
But I read the whole book
At the top staircase
But don’t know where to look

I’m useless
But no one will buy it
I’m useless
But they say I can fight it
I’m used to
Feeling down and discarded
Do you still love me
Or are you broken hearted?

My blue jean pocket
Where my wallet hugs tight
Holding ID
And the ghost of white light

This old leather fold up
Was a Pandora’s Box
I’m walking away
And today she stays locked

I’m useless
But no one will buy it
I'm useless
But they say I can fight it

I’m used to
Feeling down and discarded
Do you still love me
Or are you broken hearted?

Maybe you should see about me
And none of this was meant to be
For all you know I'm living a lie
No time to say goodbye

So keep on holding my hand
Tell me you love me
I wish the mirror would agree

(keep on going, keep on going, keep on going)

I’m useless
But no one will buy it
I'm useless
But they say I can fight it
I’m used to
Feeling down and discarded
Do you still love me
Or are you broken hearted?
